Todd Dorman, a columnist with the Cedar Rapids Gazette wrote a column a day or so ago about Republican gubernatorial candidate, Christian Fong. Fong’s campaign manager sent out a press release bragging about Fong having collected a cool $100,000 for his campaign coffers in just a three week period. Dorman wanted to know where the money came from. So do I. When looking for the information Dorman was told to wait until the reports come out in January, as required by law.
Really? If you are going to brag about your campaign finances and not wait until January and let us see for ourselves how much money you have, why not go ahead and show us the rest of the information.
What are you hiding Mr. Fong? Probably nothing, but appearances are everything.
